Divorce Advice - reasons for divorce - 2.

Couples experiencing divorce often do so due to the pressure of borrowing from cheap loans. These loans if not serviced correctly can put undue financial strains on any couples relationships. If couples fall into the trap of obtaining cheap loans that are actually very high interest rates over a long term then it is only a matter of time before the debt on a cheap loan becomes unmanageable.

Mortgage debt is often seen as good debt as the mortgage loan is on an appreciating asset. However, many couples can over-stretch themselves & not realise just how much the mortgage monthly repayments can eat into a salary or wage. Cheap initial mortgages or discounted mortgages especially the first time buyer mortgages may be discounted but only for a short period. Once this period ends servicing the extra mortgage repayments is another source of pressure on couples that can lead to divorce.

This extra burden of debt especially if the mortgage is part of the endowment shortfall crisis can lead couples to claim for compensation from their financial advisor or mortgage lender. Claiming compensation is usually a long drawn out state of affairs where couples can end up blaming each other. Before claiming compensation for mortgage mis-selling or any other type such as personal injury claims for example, a serious hard look needs to be taken at the length of time this will probably involve. No matter what the so called expert adverts on TV claim for helping you claim compensation, the route for a successful claim is tortuous - do not start a claim for compensation without realising this fact of additional pressures that could result in divorce.
